Hi,
I had to change WiFi SSID and password for my home network where all the switches has been connected to. How can I now re-configure WiFi settings, please? Even if I turn the power off and on again, switches are not broadcasting WiFi like for the out of the box experience. Can I somehow force them to reset, please? Thanks.
BR,
Pospa
OK. Let me than rephrase. I have been using the switch in old WiFi network. It means the switch was configured for that specific WiFi.
Then I have re-install the switch into new building with new WiFi (different SSID & password) so the switch is trying to connect to one being in client mode, not AP mode. It means I cant connect to the switch network to configure it.
My question is how I can force the switch to act as AP to ne able to connect ti it and configure it for new WiFi network.
I have tried long button press (4+ second) to reset it, yet I still cant see the switch WiFi.
I know I might be able to re-create old WiFi, let the switch connect to it and reconfigure, yet this is not an option for me as I do not know what original WiFi password was..
My question than is, how can I reset the switch when long button press does'n work, please? Thanks
Sorry, I 'am lost
I have tried that. Yet the switch is not in AP mode as still trying to connect to originally setup WiFi. So the question is more like how can I force the switch to switch to AP mode to be able to connect in and configure. Long press (4+ second) doesnt work for me.
Well, the only way is to completely install the switch from scratch
Hi. No I can not as WiFi the switch was connected to no longer exist. So the switch does not have network connectivity and I can not access web config interface. To re-create the WiFi and re-configure in not the option nether as I do not know original WiFi passcode.
Hi Jan, do you connect to the switch thru the webbrowser? The URL is the IP-address. Then on the Tab-page "WiFi" you can set the SSID
